It seems as though every trip I make down to New York City involves me being caught in a rainstorm with no umbrella. You don’t really think about packing umbrellas when you go for a couple days. Especially not when you have pounds of other equipment on you. So here I was, standing inside the MTA station at Columbus Circle, biting my fingers, and scanning the radar on my phone hoping that by the time Apurva and Adam’s engagement session rolls around, the rain would stop. Sure enough, just a mere 20 minutes before our start, the rain let up and we even saw a stray sun ray here and there.
We began our session in some of the more quiet areas of Central Park. I had previsualized getting something like this shot prior to this session and am so happy we made it happen
A quick outfit change later and out came these super cute heels!
Thank you Apurva and Adam for taking time out of your busy schedule to meet and get photographed! Their wedding will be later this fall in Boston – Apurva is wearing a sari for part of it, I’m so excited and cannot wait!
Big big thanks to Fong for being an amazing assistant and sticking it out with me together, without an umbrella, in the rain
