Introducing: The Heirloom Album

Think of the major purchases you’ve made in the last couple of years in the 4-figure range… maybe you went on a vacation? Did you get a designer bag? Maybe you got an used car. Or it could be an upgraded living room set? Now, think how many of those things will last beyond your lifetime. Amazing how many of those fall off the list right?

I honestly believe that there are two things in life that increase with time: photographs, and travel memories. That is why I’m a jetsetting wedding photographer – I live out those two values very close to my heart.

I made the decision over this summer to switch album companies to Red Tree Albums. Changing an album company is a big deal for me. I am so picky about the kinds of products I offer to my clients. Each item first and foremost has to be quality. Then I also judge the company based on their customer service and turnaround. When it comes to wedding albums, I’ve always wanted durability, a variety of cover options, and something that just wows.  I can honestly say that if I were to get married, this is the album I’d want.

I’m so proud to present to you the new Heirloom Album.

All Heirloom Albums come in luxurious Italian leather covers. Each album is carefully handcrafted

The Heirloom Album has an improved groove for better flipping of the pages when the album lays flat. This is extremely important because my albums are super thick and need to support about 10 pounds of weight. This album shown here is 32 spreads or 64 sides! I’ve designed albums up to 40 spreads

Yours truly provides the bespoke designs. Your album is designed with a clean, modern, lasting aesthetic in mind

I know to many people, it appears that the digital files are very important when booking a wedding package. However, can you mount a USB stick? Can you put a disc on the wall? What about the day when JPEGs become obsolete? New computers and tablets don’t even use USB or disc ports

For something as important as the day when you commit to spend the rest of your life with someone, you want to commemorate those lifetime memories with something you can pass to your future generations

As before, all my wedding albums are bound using the flushmount technique. Your image is printed on archival professional Fujifilm endura paper and then vacuum sealed to a rigid base. This allows for panoramic spreads

The superthick pages have a microfold, meaning we can design across the middle

The Heirloom Album now also allows for customized debossing on the cover!

Each album comes in a velvet protective dust bag and a box

Also, props to my roommate and her sexy shoes for modeling in this shoot =)

Kathy Shang, these are gorgeous! Do you know anyone who does albums after-the-fact, with someone else’s pictures? We have lovely pictures, but I’m realizing more and more that I’m never going to do it myself, and I’d love something tangible.

Steven I love your heirloom albums. Do you design yourself? Would you care to share the vendor? Thanks!

Betty Corless Hope you can help me. My wedding album is 56 yrs old. The front, back and spine of the album has deteriorated. The pictures (black and white) are in good condition. Do you have any suggestions for me?
Any info you can give me would be appreciated.

Betty
