Agya and Salil, Married! Part 3 of 4 | Boston wedding photographer

If you had been by the Boston waterfront on the afternoon of a mid-August Saturday this year, you might have been wondering what was going on with all these people dressed in colorful saris milling about. In this third installment of my coverage of Agya and Salil’s wedding (part 1 is here, part 2 is here). We have Salil fresh off the sehrabandi on a boat that cruised the Boston harbor arriving at Columbus Park

In what is known as a baraat, the groom’s side of the wedding danced through Columbus Park to meet the bride’s side of the family. Agya remained inside the hotel

Members of the family (parents, siblings, uncles and aunts) exchanged hugs and gifts in what is called a milni

And they’re married!

Stay tuned for all the amazing details, sights, and sounds of the reception!

Jannie That 2nd photo is really cool! I like the use of focus and foreground/background contrast…
