Romance. Absolute, romance, the coming together of two people who will continue to support each other unconditionally for the rest of their lives. This is the love story of Julie and Jay. This is the beginning of two people who embrace the outdoors like it’s their second skin. For whom distance was not a barrier. They are strong, independent, and two people I am so honored to have documented on this important day.
I took some time in this wedding to look for those unscripted moments. I’m a self-declared Moment Junkie, if you will
Yet I still appreciate those little details. Julie used the color purple throughout her wedding, including her Gucci shoes
So beautiful! I love Julie’s smile and laugh, I could photograph her all day! (which, I did)
This, my friends, is a First Look of a man utterly smitten with his bride
Such a great wedding party! We walked all over the Boston Public Gardens for some relaxed photos
The bridesmaid dresses were so fun! Julie found them at Nordstrom
Julie told me that photographs of moments of her and Jay were the most important to her, and she gave me plenty of time!
I LOVE veils! So happy to see so many of my brides this year wearing beautiful veils!
Tender moments. My favorite
Going to town with that dress! So fun
My heart could melt at this
A quiet moment before the wedding ceremony
Julie and Jay got married in a breathtaking and completely hidden parish in the middle of Boston’s Chinatown. I love the sky-high arches
I wish all first kisses could be like this!
How many people can say that they had a flash mob dance at their wedding? Mad props to all of Julie and Jay’s relatives and friends who practiced many hours to do this, led by Julie’s brother!
How often do you see a groom’s dad dancing with the bride’s grandmother? Look at how happy she is!
All around the reception, Julie’s beautifully folded origami paper cranes added pops of color and whimsy
Congratulations Julie and Jay!
This is a hilarious behind the scenes shot from Sharona, my second shooter. It’s me fanning Julie because she cried during the First Look
Don’t miss more coverage from their wedding on my Facebook page and be sure to like me there to be one of the first to see new work that I post all the time!
