Okay, if you guys are just checking in, you are in for a super duper 4-part FEAST! Over this coming week, I will be blogging my two-day coverage of Agya and Salil’s amazing, amazing Indian wedding. This wedding was just so incredible and so much happened, there is no way I can fit it all in. And the couple is incredible, I think after the wedding Salil wrote me something that was pretty much a prize-winning poem. Can I really bottle who they are in four blog posts? No way, but here’s an attempt!
So the sangeet is a joyous occasion in which the bride’s family presents various dances for the wedding guests to enjoy and also to welcome the groom’s side. The sangeet was held at the St. Michael Parish center in Bedford, MA
I’m opening with this image because this is just one beautiful couple. My jaw dropped when I saw Agya come in… that blue! That green!
Stay tuned for the main wedding day, which includes a barat, a traditional hindu ceremony, and one crazy reception at the Long Wharf Marriott!
